About Me
I’m just a guy who fell in love with sport from a really young age. To be honest, it was all that I was good at. I wasn’t the smartest guy in the class but when it came to basketball, soccer, swimming or anything sporting related, I was unstoppable.
Until a major knee injury destroyed any and all chances I had of developing a sporting career. It was then that I realised that I had a choice to make.
Be bitter because I was injured or become better.
Well, I was bitter for a long time. But when I graduated from school, I realised that this injury gave me a specific perspective on athletes with not only injuries for being able to get around aches and pains.
From there, I’ve been on a lifelong quest to become a results driven coach who not only get’s results but can change the way people do things for the better. Open athletes’ minds to smarter ways of doing things and creating discussion that broadens their minds too.
And because you’re here, it shows that you’re looking for this kind of stuff which is awesome!
This page is merely an updatable portal of what I’m doing, thinking and a place for me to put my ideas and concepts down for more discussion as well as to help athletes looking for the edge.
What Is It That I Do… Exactly?
To be blunt, I’m a strength and conditioning coach. My job is to get YOU fitter, faster and stronger in preparation for your sport or activity.
Because you’ve lifted a barbell doesn’t mean you know how to train. I’ve driven a car before but that doesn’t make me a Formula 1 race car driver. Developing strength, creating more athleticism is VERY detailed and takes an experienced eye. One that sees in detail, thinks with creativity and also is pragmatic in approach. Think of me as a meat head problem solver. I may look pretty goofy but behind the scenes, I’ve analysed, graded, assessed and categorised every single movement you’ve just done.
